Time is precious to us all, these days we seem to be chasing our tails with our busy and hectic lifestyles! You find you barely have time to walk the dog or to read that book that’s been lying around your bed for the last month. So how do you fit in some quality spiritual time for your – self? in the midst of all that seemingly ‘has’ to be done? Why do we leave what seems to be our true inner desires to the last on our list of things to do? People, love the idea of meditating, praying and doing yoga, but seems they never get around to it. But, the truth is if you really want to ‘find’ the time – you will. You make these things a priority, and you work them in somehow into your schedule. I talked about this briefly before – you ‘make’ time for everything else so why not find the time to nourish and enhance yourself with a bit of morning meditation and some evening prayer? It will enhance your life tenfold. Daily demands will, of course, pull you in many different directions, this is why you need a routine – just like brushing your teeth or eating breakfast, having a spiritual routine will slot into your daily life easily if you just do it. Creating interior peace for yourself is vital to your overall well-being; your spiritual and psychological growth. And it is just a matter of creating good habits to bring into that space where not only personal peace exists, but, also interior happiness. This has a knock on effect into your daily life, allowing you a better quality of life; a happier and healthier life for yourself, and of course a more intimate relationship between you and your Creator. I know a guy, who meditates in the morning and prays in the evening, this routine works well for him. You too can find your own rhythm, plus you’ll sleep better too knowing that you now work in collaboration with the Creator, creating a better tomorrow for yourself and your loved ones. You will sleep better knowing that you are not alone and that you have surrendered your life to your higher power; to God through prayer. You’ll sleep better as you let go, and let God take the reigns, as you are too little to handle all that life throws at you on your own. You’ll sleep better knowing that because you make more time for God, that he will now make more time for you – just simply because you asked. You will sleep better knowing that you have help to carry your load through life.
