Fear, can be an awful block. It can stop people in their tracks and leave people in a rut for years. Fear of the unknown and fear of change, are major challenges for people, what causes this fear and what can be done to over come it? Fear, derives from a lack of trust in oneself, in God and this process we call life. It is not a lack of courage as such, but a lack of belief in the universe or a lack of knowledge and understanding of how God works within us, within our lives and within the universe as a whole. When we are connected to God within and to our-selves within, when we take time to meditate and to connect to our higher selves, we loose our fears and inhibitations. This is where the spiritual life re-inforces our every lives and makes life easier. Because, when we are connected to God; to our higher selves, we realise and see the bigger picture; we realise that we are not alone and that we are fully supported by God and this marvellous universe he gave us to live in. We have no need to be afraid, as everything is already perfect and complete; when we take the time to listen to the God within ourselves. That way we shed our fears. We know that we are safe and that we are loved and always will be.
