Life lessons; we all have lessons to learn in this life. I know in recent years I had to learn patience, compassion and to put my personal feelings aside for the greater good. Reflection is so important. That is, to create an awareness of what is exactly is going on for one at any given moment in one’s life. Otherwise, we would not learn anything. Our life lessons may seem hard at times, yet without them, life would be very dull. We enter into this human experience to do just that; experience. Without experience what would be the point of it all? Even our cravings and our desires, like that new car or that trip around the world, are all nothing but our yearning for bigger and better life experiences. Never feel guilty to dream big, to want for more, because it is natural. It is natural to wish to create and experience as much of life as possible; for this is what we were created for. We are meant to experience; to create and express the highest possibilities for ourselves. And, part of this expansion is growing pains. Put it this way, we would never learn the danger of fire, if we did not experience the intensity of its heat. And so likewise, in life, we experience the growing pains from certain emotions and states of being; all of which contributes to our own personal growth and expansion. We thrive, and we become older, wiser and therefore more evolved human beings. It is all part of the beauty that is life. It has taken time, and I am surprised even how I myself can have more patience; and more compassion now, well I had to, it was that or kill my elderly father. But having to grow and strengthen myself to nearly my limit, has been invigorating and a privileged experience. And oh how I feel the better of it. Being put to the test has its moments, but it is also a liberating experience. You become liberated from the limits that you yourself placed upon yourself, with your small mind. That is why expansion is so important; you break free from your small mind, and you allow yourself to be bigger and better. It is all exhilarating really… God how I love life. Thank you for the gift of life.
