I loved running, I loved the sensation of empowerment it gave me. I loved the pounding of my heart, the air flowing through my lungs, the wind in my hair, and even the sweat running down my back. I found it exhilarating. Before, I had only dreamt of being fit, but, when I stopped drinking and stopped smoking myself to death I took up running, and for the last 8 years I have run six days a week, which was a lot I know, but, I enjoyed it so much, that I could n’t but do it. Now, it turns out that I have a hernia in my lower back, this has already caused me to suffer from sciatica, and now it seems I am being told that I should never run again! It has been a blow to me, and a big disappointment to my psychological and physical love of running. I have been miserable for the last few weeks due to not running, and so the prospect of never running again is gradually starting to sink in. So, I have decided to stop feeling sorry for myself now and to call on heaven – even more so now as I come to terms with my new lifestyle. That is I may really watch my back for the rest of my life; no cycling, mountain climbing, jogging, no lifting etc or any activity that will agitate my back. But, the good news is that I can walk and that I must do a lot of walking in order to help my back. So, I am very grateful for at least that, as they are many people worse off than me. I am now looking to heaven to help me to accept the changes that I am now facing. Acceptance of something is two-thirds of the battle, because if you fight against and do not accept the necessary changes that you have to make, then essentially you are only making yourself more miserable. Plus, the sorrier you feel for yourself, the more negativity you are attracting to your self. Negative, lower dense energy can only attract more lower dense negative energy, as that is a natural law. And that my dear friends would be going in the opposite direction to which you want to go. Because, the objective of spirituality or one of them at least is to raise your vibrational body to its highest level as possible, because, without that, it will be harder for you to tune into your sixth sense, and all this is available to you at a higher conscious level. Harmonized and balanced energy, that is energy that is clean and cleared, is what it takes to climb the spiritual ladder, not the lower energies, as these pull you down and stagnate your growth. It is why it is so important to learn to embrace change, not to resist it, change of all sorts is an inevitable fact of life. Indeed, all of life is in a constant state of change. Allowing your emotions to run your life is allowing them to also ruin your life. One needs to be in a constant state of awareness of one’s emotions and actions, in order to control them, as opposed to them controlling you. Feeling down literally drags you energetically down too, whilst feelings of joy and love boost your energy system. Therefore, each state of being (be that positive or negative) resonates out into every level of your very being and the wider world, it is therefore up to you to decide which side of the stream you want to be at; the happy and positive side or the negative downside? Ideally, if possible you should be floating in the middle of the stream, and not at sitting on either bank, you should be living life in a balanced happy medium emotional state. I know life does not always work that way, but, if we increase our awareness of our emotions and aim to be in the center of the stream, it is already a great starting point. So, the next time you face an emotional challenge, face it head on and move along taking change in your stride. Well, that is what I am doing anyhow, and to encourage myself I am treating myself to a good new pair of walking shoes.
