Just Ask

As today is the feast of the archangels, St.Michael, St. Raphael, and St. Gabriel I thought it appropriate to talk a little bit about them. Angels exist in the spiritual realm and are messengers of God. They help protect, guide and generally help us through life. The existence of angels has been known since time began and are cited many times in writings. Angels are a non-denominational gift from God to help all of us to navigate this physical realm, but, and this is the important stuff; angels respect our free will as rational humans, therefore they cannot and will not interfere with our free will unless asked to do so. This means that if we do not ask them for help, guidance, strength, courage, patience, lightheartedness, a nice hotel, to make the train on time, to learn to drive, to pass exams, to run the 5km non-stop, to protect my loved ones when I am away (including pets), to improve relations with my parents/brother/lover, to find the last few euros to buy my best friends birthday present, to find time to meditate or pray, to be able to laugh at myself, to see the beauty in life, to guide my career, the list can go on forever…. but you get the idea. You must ask for help from the angels in order to receive their help. All the angel statues and images in the world are no good if you do not ASK for whatever it is you need. Asking can be done informally as if you are asking a friend for help, it does not require any specific wording, just a respectful demand for what it is you want is sufficient. Some angels are attributed to specific tasks, like archangel Micheal is a known protector; therefore he is the patron saint of police. Arcangel Raphael is known as God’s medicine man and is therefore associated with health and well-being. Arcangel Gabrielle is known for communication and Archangel Metatron is the overseer of our ascension process. But, there are unlimitless numbers of angels, these are just a few of the more famous higher ranking archangels. This is just a quick taste of what is available to us. Directly connected to the Divine, and to All that is. I now call upon Archangel Michael.

Archangel Michael, please come in and connect with me now. I ask that you protect me, uplift me and inspire me to live in alignment with my higher and greatest good.

Surround me with your wings of love and stand before me blessing my energy with your angelic qualities of strength, courage, and truth.

Please clear my energy and vibration, completely releasing all negative energy, limiting beliefs, fears, illusions, and negative energetic imprints present in my energy and physical being…

Please release anything that is blocking me from fully and completely experiencing the love and light present in every moment.

Release all that no longer serves me into the light of the Divine, and fill the void with unconditional love, light, and compassion.

Archangel Michael, I ask that you use your sword of light to cut away all doubt, fear, guilt, or negativity which is around me.

Cut any and all cords which are draining my energy and vitality across the lines of time, and assist me in reintegration my light and personal power which has been drained, back into my being now.

Please guide me on my path and help me to accomplish my authentic purpose, according to Divine will, for the highest and greatest good, and so it is. Thank you. Amen.
